12U Girls:
The Yarmouth 12U Girls Gateways won the Bluenose League provincial championship game on Friday in Bridgewater, 6-3 over the Tri-County Rangers.
The Gateways went 9-1 in their first season, and 5-0 in the Bluenose League provincial tournament.
The program began as skills development and ended with the Gateways becoming the first ever girls U12 provincial champions.
The J Strong 12U Lady Jays finished up their season yesterday with a doubleheader against Clark’s Harbour Team 2.
The Lady Jays won the first game 11-4 and Ellie Pyne was the MVP.
The second game was a come from behind win for the Lady Jays, 12-10.
Lydia Stevenson was the MVP of the second game.

15U AA Boys:
The Chris Scott Construction 15U AA Gateways placed third at Atlantics in Moncton over the weekend.
They fell 5-2 to Summerside in the semifinal game.
Yarmouth went 3-1 during the round-robin
