The J-Strong Lady Jays 15U softball team won a year-end tournament in South Side/Clark’s Harbour over the weekend.
They defeated Clark’s Harbour Team 2 13-8 in the championship game.
The team tied and lost their two round-robin games, then won the semifinal 11-6 over Clark’s Harbour Team 1.
The Lady Jays didn’t win a game in the regular season, but came together at the tournament to become the 2021 Southwest Girls Softball League Champions.
Game MVP’s through the tournament were Grace Berry, Reese Boudreau and Alex Stoddart.
