Nominations for a special election to fill a vacant seat on council close today at 5 o’clock.
Papers can be picked up at the Returning Office at Town Hall.
The special election will take place on September 18th.
The seat became open when Councillor and former Deputy Mayor Jim MacLeod passed away in June.
