A man from Shag Harbour is facing charges under the Fisheries Act.
Bruce Clifford Nickerson is due in Shelburne Provincial Court on August 26th.
Barrington Passage Department of Fisheries and Oceans officers conducted a routine search of a vessel at West Head Wharf on Cape Sable Island on April 28th.
The officers found 248 undersized lobsters.
The charges relate to the possession of the lobsters, which included three mutilated and one female egg-bearing lobster.
