An ownership and name change at a long-time business in Yarmouth.
Effective today, Jeff Little and his family own Murray GM in Yarmouth and Barrington, and Murray Collision Centre.
The businesses are now named Little Chevrolet and Little Custom Collision.
The Murray family agreed to sell their remaining stake in the dealerships to the Little family after a 13-year partnership.
Jeff Little, who has operated the dealership for over a decade, says it’s a dream come true.
“Our family has been very involved in the Yarmouth and Barrington communities. When we had the opportunity to buy the remainder of the dealership and change the name, we chose our name. We thought it connected very well with the community.”
He says his whole family works in the dealership, even their dogs.
The Little family received the Nova Scotia volunteer family of the year award in 2019.
