People living around Shelburne and Weymouth have been booking vaccine appointments closer to home.
Nova Scotia Health announced two outreach clinics will be held, this Friday and Saturday at Shelburne High School, and next Thursday and Friday June 3rd and 4th at St. Mary’s Bay Academy.
They say the clinics are to make sure vaccines are more accessible to residents of these areas, and to make sure extra vaccine doses received in the Western Zone are used in a timely way.
About 540 appointments were made available in each region, and there are still spots available.
Appointments must be made online or by phone.
