A 53 year old Yarmouth County man is dead after a single vehicle accident yesterday.
It happened just after 8:30 a.m on Melbourne Road.
Yarmouth Rural RCMP, fire and EHS attended the scene.
They found a pickup truck in the ditch with extensive damage, and discovered the man, who was the driver and lone occupant, underneath the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene, and the road was closed for several hours.
