In local volleyball, Southwest Fusion’s U18 team took 3 out of 4 sets from Annapolis last Wednesday.
The U18’s, coached by Jordan Pierce and Ricky Muise, also won 3 out 4 against Digby.
The U16’s played Digby U16 Addington at Par-en-Bas school last Wednesday and won 3 sets, they also won 3 straight sets against Digby U16 – Gumbley at Drumlin Heights.
The team is coached by Gab Jacque and Andrew Doucette.
The Fusion’s U14 A Team, coached by Jody Shand, played their first game against Digby Friday night in Weymouth, winning two straight sets.
The Fusion U14 B Team were defeated by Digby on Friday.
They’re coached by Amy Hirschfeld and Donna Dulong.
