A stark reminder to stay home was sent out to Nova Scotians on Friday morning.
The province issued an emergency alert text to residents cel phones at 11:00 a.m.
The message states that COVID-19 is deadly and only to leave home for essential groceries, prescriptions, or medical appointments.
The province of Nova Scotia has been under a State of Emergency due to COVID-19 since March 22nd.
The order is until April 19th, at which time it can be extended.
To date, there have been two deaths related to the virus in Nova Scotia.
373 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19, of which ten are in hospital.
82 individuals have now recovered, and their cases are considered resolved.
