Over 200 kilometres of trail through the Tri-Counties has a new name.
The former rail line is called the Dark Sky T’Railway.
The is through the Western Regional Enterprise Network’s ‘Get Side-Tracked’ program.
They say the name comes from community input and a nod to the region’s stunning night skies.
The trail connects Smith’s Cove in Digby County to Barrington, and is for off-road vehicle users.
The WREN says they are putting up signage to promote businesses, rest stops, art installations and more.
