A Millbrook man was arrested for allegedly obstructing fishery officers.
It happened late Friday night as DFO officers were conducting an inspection on the Tangier River.
A man allegedly tried to take elver fishing nets held by the officers, and a struggle ensued.
RCMP say the man resisted arrest, and he suffered minor injuries.
He was taken to the Musquodoboit Harbour detachment and assessed by EHS.
The 46-year-old was later released and will appear in court next month on charges of obstructing and assaulting a peace officer.
