A 35-year-old Nova Scotia man has been identified as the victim in an home invasion near Moncton.
Brian Justin Johnson, originally from Halifax, was killed in Berry Mills on Thursday morning.
The incident unfolded when three people busted into an home resulting in Johnson’s death but police have not released many other details.
It led to an emergency alert and several schools were placed under safety protocols. At the time, police were looking for a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 and a light-coloured Ford F150.
In an update on Monday, police say they have located the Ford truck and are no longer looking for the other vehicle.
Investigators are asking for tips from anyone travelling in the area between the hours of 4 a.m. and 7 a.m., on February 6, or have dash-cam footage of the blue 2011 Ford F150.
