A big two points on the line for the Yarmouth Mariners.
They host the Valley Wildcats Friday night in their final game of 2024.
The Mariners sit five points out of a playoff spot.
With the trade deadline looming, Head Coach and GM Laurie Barron says every game is important.
“We need to find a way to put a little winning streak together. We’ve never been on the selling side and don’t want to be this year. Games like this are extremely important,” said Barron.
He adds that it’s a must win game, and even though Valley is in last place they have some talented players.
Ethan Johnson and Nathan Mossey will miss the game due to injury, two players will be called-up from the South Shore Mustangs.
The Mariners will also wear Acadien themed jerseys during warm-up, fans are also encouraged to bring a new toy for the Mariners toy-drive.
