A by-election is coming up in the Municipality of Yarmouth.
It’s for Yarmouth MLA Nick Hilton’s former seat in District 7.
Hilton handed in his resignation as councillor last week after results of the provincial election were official.
District 7 covers Chebogue, Rockville, Kelly’s Cove, Sand Beach and parts of Arcadia, Brooklyn and Greenville.
Nomination Day is February 4, and the by-election will be held on March 1.
