A former church in Yarmouth could turn into a restaurant.
The town has a planning application from the owner of the Argyle Street property.
Mayor Pam Mood says they’ll host a public information session on Tuesday night at town hall.
“There will be folks there to answer questions, citizens are certainly interested. There are questions being asked already, and we’ll people there to answer them,” said Mayor Mood.
Initial questions and comments on social media have wondered about parking and if the town needs another restaurant instead of housing.
Mood says all questions are fair, but it used to be a church, and parking is available on the street and side streets.
The open house starts at 6:30 p.m.
