Nine consecutive terms for Linda Gregory.
She was chosen as warden once again for the Municipality of Digby at last week’s swearing-in ceremony.
Gregory says they want to continue focusing on housing this term.
“Even though it’s a provincial and federal mandate, but we want to, as a municipality, help improve the lives of our residents when it comes to homelessness,” said Gregory.
She says they’ll also keep lobbying the province and Ottawa to complete the section of Highway 101 between Digby and Weymouth.
“That section needs to be completed. We know we have to get on the province’s five-year plan, we know the province wants to have Ottawa on board with it as well.”
Matthew Ross was named deputy warden.
