It’s the Western Counties Regional Libraries’ most important fundraiser.
The ‘Adopt-a-Book’ campaign is on, it happens every two years.
The library’s Ian White says their goal is to adopt 750 books by November 30.
“That has a value of about $20,000, although books are going up in cost every year,” said White.
White says they’ve reached around one third of that goal.
He adds that you can visit any of the ten branches from Westport to Lockeport.
“You can adopt a book from the display, or make a donation and books will be adopted on your behalf. You can also go to westerncounties.ca, and there is an adopt a book link there.”
