Freedom of Informtion and Protection of Privacy requests are up in Nova Scotia.
The province says they increased 25 percent in 2023/24.
Service Nova Scotia Minister Colton LeBlanc says their commitment to the FOIPOP act ensures the right of access to information remains a priority.
He says staff worked incredibly hard to accomodate over 3,400 requests.
The province adds that 80 percent of them were completed in 30 days or less.
