An early fall sitting of the Nova Scotia Legislature has come to an end.
The 10-day session wrapped on Friday, with Premier Tim Houston touting his government’s work.
In a release, he says they continue to stand up for Nova Scotians by passing legislation to support workers and families, create jobs and build homes.
He also pointed to the Chignecto Isthmus, saying it’s the federal government’s project.
Opposition Liberal leader Zach Churchill pressed the Premier on the doctor waitlist, healthcare and Houston’s plan to double the population.
NDP leader Claudia Chender said they focused on fixed-term leases and rent control, and the government failed to address those issues.
