Cell service improvements are coming to Yarmouth County.
Earlier this week, the province announced new and improved cell towers for underserviced areas.
Yarmouth Warden John Cunningham says this has been a priority of municipal council for some time.
“I’ve been lobbying on behalf of the municipality to have improved cell service, and finally that dream is becoming reality,” said Cunningham.
Upgrades to a tower in East Kemptville should improve service for many areas by Spring.
A new build is scheduled for Carleton in 2026.
Details on where individual towers will be going can be found through the Build Nova Scotia website.
