Three people died in a head-on collision on a Cape Breton road.
It happened early Saturday morning on Highway 19 in Mabou.
Inverness RCMP say two youths from the area were in one vehicle, they died at the scene.
Four people from Utah were in the other vehicle, a 71-year-old man was airlifted, and then died in hospital.
The three other occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A nearby festival in Whycocomagh was cancelled out of respect, and Dalbrea Academy in Mabou
opened on Saturday for grief counselling.
