Clean-up continues after flash floods damaged roads and culverts in the Valley.
It’s been another tragic weather event, as a youth drowned after being swept away by the flash flood in a Wolfville park Thursday evening.
It comes just two weeks ahead of the one-year anniversary of four deaths after flash flooding in Hants County.
Once again, the Department of Public Works is active repairing road washouts.
As of Saturday, they said 52 roads were re-opened.
Crews are continuing to repair roads affected by Thursday’s flooding. 52 roads have now reopened. Please drive carefully and slow down around road workers.
