A rainy Ribfest in Yarmouth.
Despite the weather, lots of people enjoyed mouthwatering ribs and chicken over the weekend at Mariners Centre.
Paul Comeau with the Yarmouth Rotary Club says they had to make some last minute adjustments.
“We were very lucky that the Mariners Centre allowed us to move our beverage facilities and tables and our music and entertainment into the Anthony Pavilion. We made that move during the downpours on Friday,” said Comeau.
He says it will still be a successful fundraiser for food insecurity in the Tri-Counties, and he thanks all the volunteers and sponsors.
“The food was great, the ribbers and vendors seemed to be happy, all in all it was a great event, and we hope it still provided at festival atmosphere.”
Ribfest was presented by the club and Graves Electrical.
