The provincial riding of Argyle has a Liberal candidate for the next election.
Lorelei Murphy is a native of Wedgeport.
She says she was inspired to put her name in to advocate for better healthcare.
Murphy is a former patient advocate for Yarmouth Regional Hospital, and currently works as a weighmaster within the fisheries sector.
She is also a figure skating coach.
The PCs Colton LeBlanc is the current MLA for Argyle.
He’s held the seat since 2019.
