Yarmouth’s comic book and gaming convention will be bigger than ever.
Y-Con is moving to the Mariners Centre for its fourth edition.
Organizer Malcolm Seaboyer says the event has grown each year.
“We had 556 attendees last year, so we’ve moved to a larger space at Mariners Centre this year. We’ll have more vendors and guests this year too, we’re looking forward to it, ” said Seaboyer.
Seaboyer says they’ve been working hard, with a number of board members and over 50 volunteers ready to help out.
“There will be cosplay contests, gaming tournaments, puzzles, plus 40 vendors and lots to see and do, it’s going to be a great way to kick off the tourist season in Yarmouth.”
Y-Con runs from Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2 in Arena 1.
