A new report on the implementation of the Mass Casualty Commission’s recommendations
The independent Progress Monitoring Committee is out with a six-month recap.
It goes through the recommendations that have been implemented so far by RCMP and government.
Chair Linda Oland says she’s encouraged by the reports, and they’ll keep police and government accountable to the public.
The report also includes a plan on how the progress will be monitored.
The commission created 130 recommendations in response to the 2020 Nova Scotia mass shootings.
