The Halifax Thunderbirds finished the regular season with a bang!
The National Lacrosse League team nabbed a 14-10 win over the Colorado Mammoth in front of 10,595 screaming fans Saturday.
It was the franchise’s first-ever sell-out crowd in the Nest!
According to the game recap, Clarke Petterson led the way for the Thunderbirds, scoring a pair of goals along with five assists, while Randy Staats had three goals and five points.
Cody Jamieson and Austin Shanks also chipped in four points apiece.
Ryan Terefenko had a pair of points in transition, and Halifax got transition goals from Jake Withers and Johnny Pearson.
With the victory, the Thunderbirds finish the season at 10-8.
The NLL says Halifax will go up against Albany in the first round of playoff matchups on Sunday, April 28th.
