The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education wants to hear from you.
They’re hosting a series of public engagement sessions over the next two weeks.
Regional executive director Jared Purdy says it’s a new provincial initiative.
“It allows information to flow from the regional centre out into the public and in our communities. It will allow us to be more transparent about policy procedure, and for people to share their voice and thoughts on improving the system,” said Purdy.
The first session goes Thursday night at 6 at Yarmouth High School.
Purdy says there will be a presentation, followed by smaller working groups meeting with local leadership teams.
“We’ll cover a wide range of subjects, including student achievement and well-being, and capital planning and operations.”
Another session is planned for Barrington municipal high school on Monday night, and Digby regional high school on March 4.
One of the ways we are working to strengthen the voices of local families is through the introduction of Public Engagement Sessions. TCRCE will be holding three Public Engagement sessions this school year. More info and a link to RSVP here: https://t.co/uaE5wNv5eR pic.twitter.com/OD7pYpQpOt
