The public will soon have its say on the expansion of Mariners Centre.
A new building will be constructed on the property, but won’t be attached to the current facility.
Public engagement sessions are coming next week.
Mariners Centre Expansion Board Chair Nicole Albright says they want to hear what people are looking for.
“We also have to keep in mind that we do have a budget that needs to stay under a certain number. We want to hear from the public on how we can make these spaces the best they can be,” said Albright.
The building will feature a pool and fitness facility and a walking track, a construction tender will be issued in the spring.
