I had the great opportunity to stop by the Shelburne Special Olympics Floor Hockey team’s practice last night. They’ll be representing Team Nova Scotia in Calgary, coming up in late February for the Winter Games. They’ve been practicing non-stop for the opportunity and are close to being ready for the big trip! I chatted with some of the athletes and their coach. Have a listen…
They’re not the only Tri County team heading to the games this year; the Yarmouth Special Olympics curling team will be representing Nova Scotia as well!
