The Yarmouth Mariners need a win in regulation today at the Centennial Cup.
The Mariners will face the Terrebonne Cobras at 5:30.
Timmins beat Ottawa 2-1 in a shootout earlier, but couldn’t lock down the final playoff spot in the division.
With a regulation win today, the Mariners would own the tiebreaker over Timmins and Terrebonne for the last spot.
Tonight’s game will be shown on the big screen at Mariners Centre.
The quarterfinals begin on Friday.
