With some snow coming down today, it’s a perfect Day to make a Big Pot of Chili !
Today is “Chili Day”, observed annually on the last Thursday of February. It’s a great excuse to put together a perfect pot of chili. What’s your secret ingredient?
I have made Chili using Beef , Pork , Turkey and sometimes a combo of all 3.
In my Chili you’ll find Beef or chicken stock ,Chili Seasoning ,Red, Green and Chili Peppers , onions , garlic, Cumin , celery , fresh tomato , some ginger, maybe some mushrooms , added Bacon and a must have ingredient for me is red Kidney Beans.
I am not a fan of hot & spicy and I don’t always add Corn to my Chili but to each their own.
