Good Morning!
Click HERE for the Yarmouth Forecast .
The forecast tomorrow is calling for the first major snowfall in the Tri -Counties so far this year . A first snowfall is always a big learning curve for may people in many ways.
This morning I thought I would list just a couple of my own and let you add to it on our Facebook Link.
The Number 1 thing is adjusting driving habits to the weather conditions , slow down , take your time, leave a buffer between you and the driver ahead, change to winter tires, have some traction sand , an emergency kit with a blanket in the trunk and generally prepare your vehicle for Winter.
Have a decent show shovel or push bucket, prepare your snow blower or tractor with a plow.
Be sure to have some Dry Firewood ” If you burn wood ” on hand, enough to last a couple days if needed.
Get out the winter Jackets, boots , hats and gloves.
Prepare your household with available drinking or ” flushing ” water , easy to prepare meals incase of power outages , charge your devices and get your ” Storm Chips ”
Take care of your pets , some don’t like the snow and always keep them warm, watered and fed . Never leave a pet outside in a snowstorm or any Bad weather.
