Good Morning!
I think growing up in the late 60’s , early 70’s every and kid had a Slinky. I know I did and most all my friends at that time had one too. Our home at the time had a fairly long set of stairs and it was perfect for Slinky races with my brothers.
Today we celebrate “Slinky Day”, the Slinky was designed in the 1940s
The inventor ” Richard James ” had accidentally knocked a spring off the shelf, and watched it ‘walk’ down a series of books, to a tabletop, and then to the floor where it neatly coiled itself.
