The Yarmouth Mariners are hosting a hockey school next week for minor hockey players.
It will be held at Mariners Centre, and several current and former players on the Junior A franchise will be taking part.
Head Coach and General Manager Laurie Barron says each day will run from 9-4.
“Lots of on-ice instruction, off-ice activities as well and nutrition. There’s lots of learning opportunities to be had from Monday to Friday,” says Barron.
It’s for players in the U9, U11 and U13 categories.
Barron says there’s still room to sign up.
“We’d love to have kids from Yarmouth to Barrington and Shelburne to Clare.”
You can sign your child up through Yarmouth Minor Hockey.
The first session goes Monday, August 22.
The Mariners open training camp on Thursday, August 25.
