A celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in Yarmouth on Saturday.
Nova Scotia Lt. Governor Arthur LeBlanc and his wife Patsy were in attendance for a garden party in Frost Park.
His Honour says it’s special to recognize the Queen.
“Seventy years of dedicated service and duty to her country and people, and to the people of Canada. She has been outstanding,” says the Lt. Gov.
The garden party was put on in collaboration with Mayor Pam Mood and the Town of Yarmouth.
The Lt. Governor says the people of Yarmouth are extremely welcoming, generous and kind.
“People have come from all over, from Deep Brook to Pubnico to Salmon River, to be here today. The Town of Yarmouth is special to us.”
