You’re invited to a garden party in Yarmouth tomorrow.
The Lt. Governor of Nova Scotia Arthur J. LeBlanc and his wife Patsy will host the event in Frost Park, in celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
Mayor Pam Mood says everyone is welcome to attend.
“It’s open, we say business attire, but I’m sure anybody can come out, meet their Honours, and just enjoy a day at the park,” says Mood.
She says the Lt. Governor’s office is partnering with the Mayor’s office to host the party from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This year marks 70 years on the throne for Queen Elizabeth, who is the second-longest reigning monarch.
