A hockey player from Yarmouth was selected in the QMJHL Draft.
Jared Pitman, who celebrated his 16th birthday yesterday, was drafted by the Acadie-Bathurst Titan (tee-TAN) in the 13th round, 229th overall.
Pitman played last season with the South Shore Mustangs in the Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League.
The forward had six goals and 13 points in 33 regular season games.
