The three men accused in relation to the murder of Colton Cook are looking to have the location of their trial changed.
The case was back in supreme court today, with lawyers for Wayne Crawford, Robert Rogers and Keith Siscoe making a request for Justice Pierre Muise to change the venue of the trial so it does not take place in Yarmouth.
They argued that public attention surrounding the trial could have an impact on the jurors selected.

They point to rallies that have taken place in the community with signs calling for justice in Cook’s death, and a previous verbal altercation between Siscoe and a person in the court’s public gallery.
The lawyers are making applications to change the venue, those are due on September 21.
Crawford and Rogers are both charged with the second degree murder and interference with human remains in Cook’s death, Siscoe is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
The three men will be tried together when the jury trial goes ahead sometime next year.
