A search and rescue for a man lost in the woods in Yarmouth County had a happy ending last night.
Police got word the man was lost and injured in a remote area of East Quinan late yesterday afternoon.
Yarmouth Rural RCMP and members of the Quinan Volunteer Fire Department entered the woods to search.
The Department of Natural Resources and Renewables sent in a helicopter, and Yarmouth County Ground Search and Rescue were also involved.
Around 8:30, the man was located and rescued from the woods by the helicopter and RCMP officers.
He was treated and released by EHS at the scene.
