The Southwest Storm were able to pick up a silver at the Maritime Hockey North Championship in East Hants, as they lost 6-2 to New Brunswick’s Western Valley Panthers in the championship game.
They went 1-2 in the round-robin, and were able to defeat East Hants in the semifinal game Saturday, thanks to a hat-trick from Zach Darcy in their 8-6 victory.
The Storm won a league championship in their inaugural season.
