This weekend was provincials for the South West Fusion volleyball teams.
The U16 team took Tier 1 Silver. In pool play the team defeated the Digby Crossfires 25-6, 25-4, Valley Eagles 25-1, 25-13. In quarter finals the Truro Cougars 23-25, 25-24,15-11. Semis Scotia Junior Blue 25-18, 25-20. In the finals falling short in three sets to The Bedford Blizzard Navy 22-25, 26-24 14-16 to take silver.
Jorgia Malone and Isabella Cyr were voted to the All Star Team.
South West Fusion U16 Team
Results for the U15 team: They placed 10th in tier 1 out of 26 teams. Pool play vs Blizzard Navy 6-25, 12-25, vs Chill 16-25, 17-25, VCB Capers pink 25-27, 25-20, 10-15. Semis vs Scotia Juniors Green 25-21, 17-25, 8-15. Finals vs DVC White 23-25, 15-25.
The team was coached by Gabriel Jacques, Rylan d’Entremont and Monique Muise. managed by Jenny d’Eon.
