Get ready to hunt for Easter eggs in Yarmouth on Saturday.
It’s the first annual Ytown Community Easter Egg Hunt, happening at several locations across town.
Organizer and town councillor Steve Berry says it will be great to see many people taking part.
“Here we are with Easter, and we thought it would be a great idea to give the community something to do. We contacted some local businesses, and there are seven locations for the hunt,” says Berry.
Most of the hunts are open to all-ages, except one at the Yarmouth High School is for children under five and their parents or guardians.
Many people donated the plastic eggs, and Berry thanks the community for their generosity.
“It’s important that we’re getting back to a sense of normalcy, and we’re doing what we can. It’s nice to be back doing community events, and we hope this creates momentum for a strong spring and summer.”
Hunts are taking place at the following locations at 2 p.m.

Tri-County Tractor
Yarmouth Wesleyan Church
South Church
