Good Morning !

This blog I’m talking Roller Skating .

As a kid I had a pair of Roller Skates ” With a Key” , just like the song ..lol.. The key was for tightening the skates ( Photo below)

Roller Skates have come a long way over the years, from the days of metal wheels and leather straps as in the above photo, to current Boot style skates with rubber or plastic wheels.

At one time in the late 80’s / Early 90’s Roller Skating was a popular thing and it seems the Roller Disco of days gone by is getting a revival .

Have you heard the news of a Roller Dome opening in The Halifax area ?

This Summer Upshaw’s Roller Dome will be opening this June at a location it the Spryfield Shopping Centre.
