U16:
The Southwest Fusion U16 team took gold Saturday in a tournament in the city. In the round robin they played Bedford Black 25-15, 25-13, DVC 25-14, 25-10, Bedford Navy 25-12, 25-22. They played Truro in the finals taking Gold with set scores 25-14 & 25-21.
U15:
The U15 Southwest Fusion Volleyball team took fourth in the Bridgewater tournament Saturday. They faced Blizzard, DVC & Armview in the round robin, then played Smash in the Semiss 20-25 & 17-25 and faced Armview again in the bronze match to fall short 14-25 & 21-25.
U14:
Results from the U14 seeding tournament hosted by Southwest Fusion Volleyball Club at PEB Saturday & Sunday:
U14A came second in their pool playing Scotia Junior Black and Smash. In crossovers they faced and beat Axe & Fusion B sending them to the gold medal match vs. the Scotia Junior Black once again, but they fell short in the 3rd set with set scores 9-25, 25-16 & 13-15.
U14B Played Scotia Jr Blue & Axe in the round robin to be first in their pool. Day 2 in crossovers they faced U14A – 8-25 & 19-25 sending them to the consolation match against Bridgewater Smash to fall short with close sets 17-25 and 24-26.
