Nova Scotia Regional Junior Hockey League:
The Southwest Storm swept their best two out three Nova Scotia Regional Junior Hockey league playoff series against Spryfield. The Storm won 6-1 in Barrington Friday, and got a 4-0 shutout in Spryfield Saturday. They’ll take on Chester in their next playoff series this weekend.
Valley High School Hockey League:
The Clare Loups defeated Par-en-Bas two games to one in their best of three playoff series over the weekend. Clare took Game 3 2-1 yesterday to win the series. The Loups will move on to Division 2 Regionals against NKEC.
Minor Hockey:
Minor Hockey: the Western Riptide U18 female team won their playoff game yesterday, 3-1 over Metro East Inferno. The U13 Riptide also got a playoff victory Saturday against Metro East, 7-0. The U11 team lost 9-2 in their playoff game yesterday.
