The Yarmouth Mariners will have 75 per cent capacity as they host the Pictou County Crushers tonight at 7:30.
It begins a set of three straight nights at home for the Mariners, who have won nine of 16 at the Fishtank this year.
Head Coach and GM Laurie Barron says things are getting close to normal with restrictions lifting.
“Three big games, and looking at tonight against Pictou first and foremost. We’ve clawed our way into an honourable mention spot in the CJHL Top 20, so we’re excited,” says Barron.
The Mariners have Fredericton tomorrow and Pictou again Sunday.
Yarmouth will be wearing their ‘First Responders’ jerseys tonight.
Barron says the players are excited for the potential of a full house in the playoffs.
“They haven’t played at the Mariners Centre with a full capacity. I think the guys are really looking forward to it. Hopefully we can have over 1,000 fans.”
The Mariners sit in first place in the Eastlink South Division, with the best points percentage.
The Mariners will hit the road next weekend for their final regular season games.
The playoffs start March 24th.
