Yarmouth Town Hall is set to re-open to the public on Monday.
It’s been closed for all of 2022 due to concerns surrounding the Omicron wave of COVID-19.
As part of loosening restrictions in Nova Scotia, the town says COVID prevention measures will remain in place for the time being.
Mayor Pam Mood says bill payments can still be made online if you’re not comfortable.
“I haven’t received one complaint about folks having to do businesses in a different way. People are learning to do things online, and work at town hall continued, and went off without a hitch,” says Mood.
She says bills can also be paid by a mailed cheque, at the front door drop box or at your bank.
Mood says masks and physical distancing are still required until the province enters Phase Three of the re-opening plan on March 21st.
