More flights will be taking to the skies between Halifax and Toronto.
Porter Airlines announcing it’s bringing in three non-stop routes to connect Toronto’s city airport with Halifax, Fredericton, and Moncton.
Halifax International Airport Authority President Joyce Carter is applauding the move to increase service in our community amid pandemic recovery.
“This new route will provide our passengers with more choice and the added convenience of arriving and departing just minutes from the heart of the city,” Carter says in a news release. “We appreciate Porter’s commitment to increasing air service in our community and look forward to working together as we collectively recover from the pandemic.”
The new service in Halifax launches April 7th with up to three daily roundtrip flights in the summer.
It starts May 5th for Fredericton and Moncton, with one daily year-round non-stop flight each.
