UPDATE: 9:30 a.m.
All schools in the TCRCE and Argyle region of the CSAP will be dismissing two hours early today due to the impending forecast.
The exception is Hillcrest Academy, which has already dismissed due to a power outage in Shelburne County. Shelburne High School will dismiss at 10 a.m.
It’s going to be a mess today, especially if you live in Digby County.
30 millimetres of freezing rain are forecast to fall, according to Environment Canada.
This will create hazardous road conditions, and make everything a sheet of ice.
Power outages are possible, and Nova Scotia Power has activated their emergency operations centre.
